I think this line is mostly filler.

Attention World: Scout is the most awesome human being. Like, ever.

Last weekend Scout spirited me away to a secret event at an undisclosed location. It was all secrety and surprisey. He had bought tickets months ago and I had agreed not to snoop on the internet to find out what the big secret could have been.

And what was it? Tell! What? Where? Who?

Turns out there was a reunion of (most) of the cast and production team of Buffy, the Vampire Slayer complete with a screening of "Once More, With Feeling". Woo Hoo! We got to see the musical episode on a big movie screen and then hear Joss, Sarah, James, Nicholas, Seth, Charisma, etc talk all about all things Buffy. It was super cool.

And I *still* get all teary at the look on Willow's face when Buffy reveals that she had been in heaven.

Note: for those of you that are not Buffy fans, this will probably make no sense to you. You should remedy that, as soon as possible.

How jealous am I? SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!

So who all was there? Giles? Angel? Not that I'm all Buffy boy crazy or anything... ;)

Sadly, no Giles, Angel or Willow. BUT there was: Joss, Buffy, Spike, Zander, Tara, Anya, Dawn, Cordelia, Oz... I think that was it.

As far as boy crazy moments: when they announced that the Buffy-Spike bringing down the house moment in season 6 had one "best sex scene ever" from TV Guide Spike said, "Take that, Angel!" Pretty funny.

Don't worry, sugarmouth - you're still the OG Cancer Slayer.

Wow--Still pretty impressive turn out.

Have you seen the comic series BVS Season Eight? It's deals with the Buffyverse post-finale & deals with the consequences of activating all of the potentials with the scythe.

Pretty good--I was actually able to get it from my library! :)

Hey Megan!

Wow I am jealous. Was actually thinking of buying myself the complete serious for my b-day this year - but I rally am trying to pay down those credit card bills - although flying hte whole family to both coasts at least twice a year sure puts a crimp in that plan.

Missed you at Gma's 100th - but know why you weren't there. Best part was cousin Ricky coming out from brooklyn. My kids fell in love with him and he with them. Them NY jews sure are funny...

Anyway - hope you are doing great.

Eric-

I totally would have gone to g-ma's 100th! No one told me about it! Well, I guess I am a bit out of the loop.Glad you had a good time.

If you want a temporary Buffy fix, I'd be happy to make copies of each season and send them your way. (Shhh... don't tell the copyright lawyers.)

Sugarmouth -

Scout has Season 8 (he brought it with us and had Joss sign it. Oh la la!) but I haven't read it yet. I do know that Buffy gets a little girl-on-girl action, tho. Rowr.

I guess I assumed...well you know happens when you assume...

If you would like I will drop you an email with some photos.

The rest of the family shit we can take offline (or online, but offblog I guess - not sure how much you want people here reading).

Thanks for the buffy offer - I just may take you up on it. I was looking at the season 8 book, as well as this interesting looking book: Seven Seasons of Buffy: Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Discuss Their Favorite Television Show (Smart Pop series) (Paperback) A bunch of geeky writers analyzing the series - my kind of stuff.
